Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Gritter Operator to join our team in Sydney. In this role, you will be responsible for operating gritting equipment and ensuring safe winter road maintenance. Your keen attention to detail and proactive approach will be crucial in maintaining the safety of our roads.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations while operating gritting vehicles.
• React promptly to changing weather conditions and road emergencies.
• Document gritting activities in a timely and accurate manner.
• Support the maintenance crew in other roadworks as required.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in winter road maintenance operations preferred.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• HRW License: Having a Heavy Rigid Vehicle License is preferred.
• Experience in Road Maintenance: Demonstrated experience in road construction or maintenance.
