Job Description

As an Extruding, Forming, Pressing, and Compacting Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender at ABC Plastics, you will play a critical role in the manufacturing process. Your main responsibilities will include setting up and operating molding machines to produce high-quality plastic products. You'll work closely with our production team to meet operational targets while ensuring product quality and safety on the shop floor.

Responsibilities

• Adjust machine settings to maintain product specifications.
• Conduct quality checks on products to ensure they meet client expectations.
• Assist in the setup of new product lines and machine configurations.
• Implement lean manufacturing techniques to improve efficiency.
• Document production data and machine maintenance logs.
• Provide feedback to management on equipment performance.
• Adhere to OH&S regulations and report hazards immediately.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss targets and improvements.
• Assist with the training of junior operators.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.

Requirements

Education

• Trade qualification in manufacturing or engineering

Experience

• 3 years of experience in a similar role preferred

Technical Skills

• Quality Control

Languages

• English: Fluent
