Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Equipment Maintenance Superintendent to manage all repair and maintenance activities at our manufacturing site. This role requires strong leadership skills to guide a dedicated maintenance team and ensure the reliability of our equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Direct day-to-day maintenance operations and resource allocation.
  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment.
  • Lead team meetings to discuss safety, processes, and equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with external vendors for equipment sourcing and servicing.
  • Implement training programs for maintenance staff on new procedures.
  • Develop strategies to enhance equipment reliability and serviceability.
  • Audit maintenance practices and suggest necessary improvements.
  • Facilitate communication between maintenance and production departments.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
  • Relevant certifications prefered
Experience
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
