Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Public Health Officer to join our team in Tamworth. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and implementing health programs aimed at improving community health outcomes. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including healthcare providers, community organisations, and government agencies.

Responsibilities

• Assess and address health disparities within the community.
• Design and implement strategies for disease prevention and health promotion.
• Develop partnerships with schools, businesses, and local organisations to enhance health initiatives.
• Prepare reports for local government and health authorities.
• Participate in community health fairs and outreach events.
• Provide training and support to community health workers.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Community Health or related field
• Master's degree in Public Health is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years of relevant work experience in public health

Certifications

• Public Health Administration Certification
• CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
