Job Description

As a Food Aide, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation and service, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. You will assist in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and work closely with the Food Supervisor to address any issues that may arise.

Responsibilities

• Help with meal prep, ensuring all safety standards are met.
• Keep the kitchen clean and organized at all times.
• Assist in managing food supplies and inventory.
• Work with other staff to deliver excellent food service.
• Engage in outreach to promote nutritional programs.
• Maintain equipment and report maintenance issues.
• Participate in kitchen training sessions as required.
• Assist in special dietary requirement preparations.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant certifications in food handling.
• Working with Children Check

Experience

• Experience in a food service role is preferred but not mandatory.

• Inventory Management Software

Languages

• English: Fluent
