Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Mechanical Drafter to join our talented team. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in gauge design, with an emphasis on creating accurate and detailed drawings and specifications for industrial applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and create high-precision gauges suitable for manufacturing processes.
• Utilize CAD software to generate detailed engineering drawings.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines.
• Test and validate design prototypes to ensure they meet client specifications.
• Document all design changes and maintain technical specifications.
• Monitor trends in gauge technology and apply best practices.
• Assist in the development of manufacturing processes for gauge production.
• Provide regular updates to the Lead Engineer on project status and challenges.
• Identify areas for process improvement and suggest innovative solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Engineering or related discipline

Experience

• 3-5 years of practical experience in mechanical drafting

Technical Skills

• 3D modelling experience
• Material selection knowledge

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Communication

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Statistical analysis skills: Ability to perform statistical analysis on gauge performance data.
• Experience with project management tools: Familiarity with tools such as Trello or Asana for managing engineering projects.
