Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pipe Line Inspector who will be responsible for conducting inspections, testing, and ensuring the integrity of pipelines. The successful candidate will have experience in adhering to safety regulations and will play a pivotal role in maintaining pipeline safety across various projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections of pipeline systems to evaluate their condition.
• Identify potential integrity issues and suggest timely corrective actions.
• Ensure all inspection tools and equipment are calibrated and in working order.
• Assist in the development of inspection reports for regulatory compliance.
• Conduct site assessments and follow safety protocols during inspections.
• Participate in planning meetings to address previous findings and preventive measures.
• Adapt inspection schedules based on project demands and regulatory changes.
• Engage in ongoing training to improve inspection techniques and safety protocols.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and environmental regulations.
• Foster a culture of safety within the team and promote best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Certification as a pipeline inspector
• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in pipeline inspection or related field

• Microsoft Office Suite

Certifications

• Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Certification

Languages
