Job Description

As a Chute Tender, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of chute systems within our mining and construction sites. This position requires a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety checks before and during chute operations.
• Collaborate closely with site supervisors to align on operational goals.
• Provide feedback on equipment performance and maintenance needs.
• Participate in team-building exercises to promote a cohesive work environment.
• Utilize chute design software for performance optimization.
• Document maintenance and operational data accurately.
• Ensure all team members adhere to PPE guidelines and safety protocols.
• Assist in emergency response situations as required.

• Experience with conveyor systems: Solid experience in operating and maintaining conveyor systems in a production setting.
• Heavy Vehicle License: License required for operating heavy vehicles on site.
