Job Description

As a Derrick Follower, you will play a crucial role in the safe and efficient operations of our drilling rig. You will work alongside a dedicated team to monitor drilling operations, maintain equipment, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate drilling tools and equipment efficiently and safely.
• Monitor drilling operations and communicate any issues to the Drilling Supervisor.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Maintain records of daily operations and equipment performance.
• Support team members during rig operations and safety drills.
• Contribute to a culture of safety and compliance within the team.
• Participate in problem-solving sessions to improve operational efficiency.
• Assist in onboarding and training new team members.
• Be available for on-call duties as operational needs arise.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certifications in H2S, CPR, and First Aid preferred

Experience

• Experience in the oil and gas drilling industry is preferred.
