Job Description

We are on the lookout for committed Probation Officers and Correctional Treatment Specialists who are passionate about supporting individuals serving probation or parole. You will be instrumental in assessing risk levels, developing supervision plans, and ensuring adherence to court mandates.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain rapport with offenders to encourage compliance.
• Act as a liaison between the offender and the justice system.
• Monitor and document offenders' participation in mandated programs.
• Collaborate closely with community service organizations to support offenders.
• Prepare and present cases to the parole board as necessary.
• Conduct regular reviews of supervision plans to ensure effectiveness.
• Stay informed about new developments in criminal justice and rehabilitation methods.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or related field
• Relevant professional certifications preferred

Experience

• Experience engaging with diverse communities is preferred.

Certifications

• Advanced Certificate in Community Corrections

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
