Job Description

As an Endoscopy Technician, you will perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using advanced endoscopic equipment. Your expertise will be crucial in assisting physicians and ensuring patient care during and after the procedures.

Responsibilities

• Handling all aspects of endoscopic equipment setup and maintenance.
• Providing assistance during procedures to various specialists.
• Monitoring and managing patient comfort throughout the process.
• Collating and managing patient documentation accurately.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Participating in patient education and awareness initiatives.
• Engaging in continuous professional development and training sessions.
• Adopting feedback methodologies to maintain high-quality service standards.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate IV in Health Science (Operating Theatre Technician) or equivalent
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification is advantageous

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in endoscopy procedures
