Job Description

As a Heat Treating Equipment Setter, Operator, and Tender, you will play a pivotal role in the manufacturing sector. Your primary responsibility will involve operating and controlling heat treating furnaces to ensure that metal and plastic components are subjected to specific thermal processes. With attention to detail and precision, you'll monitor the equipment to achieve the desired material properties, maintain safety standards, and collaborate with team members to enhance production efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Set up and control parameters on heat treating furnaces based on specifications.
• Conduct inspections of materials before and after treatment to adhere to quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the work area and equipment.
• Communicate effectively with the team to enhance process efficiency.
• Document and report any equipment malfunction to supervisors promptly.
• Assist in the training of new staff on procedures and safety practices.

Requirements

Education

• Training or certification in heat treatment processes is advantageous

Experience

• Experience operating and controlling heat treating furnaces is preferred.

Languages

• English: Fluent
