Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Warp Preparer responsible for preparing fabric for the weaving process. This role involves aligning and sizing warp threads, ensuring that the specifications from the weaver are met precisely.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare warp threads for weaving, ensuring they meet quality standards.
  • Operate warping machines and ensure proper tension in the warp threads.
  • Conduct regular maintenance on warping equipment.
  • Train new staff on warp preparation techniques and procedures.
  • Document all warp setups and adjustments accurately.
  • Assist in troubleshooting weaving machine issues as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the workplace.

Requirements

Education
  • Certificate III in Textile Production or equivalent
Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in textile production with a focus on warp preparation
