Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Warp Preparer responsible for preparing fabric for the weaving process. This role involves aligning and sizing warp threads, ensuring that the specifications from the weaver are met precisely.
Responsibilities
Prepare warp threads for weaving, ensuring they meet quality standards.
Operate warping machines and ensure proper tension in the warp threads.
Conduct regular maintenance on warping equipment.
Train new staff on warp preparation techniques and procedures.
Document all warp setups and adjustments accurately.
Assist in troubleshooting weaving machine issues as needed.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the workplace.
Requirements
Education
Certificate III in Textile Production or equivalent
Experience
At least 2 years of experience in textile production with a focus on warp preparation
