Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction and Building Inspector to join our team in Sydney. The successful candidate will conduct thorough inspections, prepare reports, and provide expert advice on building compliance and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections of construction sites to ensure compliance with safety and building regulations.
• Evaluate construction plans for regulatory compliance and safety standards.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports for clients and stakeholders.
• Communicate findings to builders and developers clearly and professionally.
• Maintain inspection records and documentation accurately.
• Collaborate with local authorities on compliance issues.
• Offer expert advice on building safety and construction practices.
• Participate in workshops and training sessions to enhance knowledge of regulatory standards.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering
• Building Inspector Certification preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in building inspection or construction management

Technical Skills

• Building Codes Knowledge
• Project Management Software

Certifications

• Occupational Health and Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
