Job Description

The Tobacco Cloth Reclaimer will be responsible for collecting and processing used tobacco cloths from production floors, sorting and preparing them for recycling, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Collect and sort tobacco cloths from the production area.
• Prepare cloths for recycling through cutting and shredding.
• Keep the reclamation area organized and safe.
• Document daily findings and production output.
• Manage operation and maintenance of reclamation tools.
• Coordinate with warehouse and production staff.
• Follow safety protocols and procedures.
• Assist with training new team members.

Requirements

Education

• Completion of high school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Operational knowledge of reclamation equipment and machinery
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Soft Skills

• Physical stamina and dexterity
• Attention to detail and quality

Advantageous

• Experience using forklifts or other heavy equipment: Practical knowledge in handling heavy machinery to assist in operations.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety regulations: Knowledge of safety practices in a manufacturing environment.
