Job Description

We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented Cigarette Examiner to join our Quality Control team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing cigarette products against regulatory standards to ensure compliance with Australian laws.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed evaluations of cigarette products against current regulatory standards.
• Document findings from product inspections and tests.
• Assist in developing new quality standards for smoking products.
• Liaise with external stakeholders to address compliance concerns.
• Contribute to reports for regulatory submissions.
• Work on continuous improvement projects related to product compliance.
• Support the Risk Management team in assessing potential compliance risks.
• Participate in cross-departmental projects to enhance product quality.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or a related field
• Advanced degree preferred

Experience

• Previous experience in the tobacco industry is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent
