Job Description

The Suction Dredge Pipeline Placing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the placement of suction dredge pipelines in various projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and project specifications. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a diverse team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the construction of suction dredge pipelines, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Monitor daily operations and provide guidance to the workforce.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to review project timelines and specifications.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions for the team.
  • Analyze project performance and report findings to senior management.
  • Ensure all materials and tools are ready for daily operations.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement within the team.
  • Document and report any incidents or safety breaches.

Requirements

Education
  • Certificate IV in Civil Construction or similar qualification
  • Bachelor's degree would be an asset
Experience
  • Proven experience in dredging or marine construction projects preferred.
