Job Description

As a House Shorer, you will be vital to our construction projects, responsible for ensuring the structural safety of buildings throughout the construction and renovation processes. We are seeking candidates who are not only skilled in physical tasks but also have a strong grasp of safety regulations, possess excellent teamwork capabilities, and can adapt techniques based on project needs. Your role will be pivotal in delivering exceptional results for our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of properties to determine necessary shoring.
  • Implement shoring plans that align with legal and safety standards.
  • Utilize specialized tools and equipment to perform shoring tasks effectively.
  • Communicate with clients and stakeholders about project requirements and progress.
  • Ensure all shoring materials are correctly sourced, documented and utilized.
  • Adapt shoring methods based on specific project needs and site conditions.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and architects to plan shoring activities.
  • Provide technical support to other construction team members as needed.
  • Keep abreast of industry developments and improvements in shoring techniques.
  • Promote a culture of safety and compliance on-site.

Requirements

Education
  • Vocational training in a relevant field
Experience
  • 3-5 years’ experience in construction, specifically in shoring and structural support.
