Job Description

As a Heavy Equipment Operator (HEO), you will operate various types of heavy machinery to ensure the effective and safe execution of construction projects. The successful candidate must possess strong technical abilities and a commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment and machinery in construction settings.
• Inspect machinery and complete maintenance checks as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and best practices.
• Move materials as required for various projects.
• Maintain worksite cleanliness and orderliness.
• Complete all necessary documentation and reports.
• Assist team members with project-related tasks.
• Handle transportation of hazardous materials safely.
• Monitor the performance of equipment and report issues.
• Engage in ongoing safety and equipment handling training.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Heavy Equipment Operator Certification

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in the construction industry

Technical Skills

• Forklift Operation
• Loader Operation

Certifications

• Valid Heavy Vehicle Drivers License
• Forklift Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
