Drywall and Ceiling Tile Installer

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Drywall and Ceiling Tile Installer to join our construction team. As part of your role, you will be responsible for installing drywall and ceiling tiles, ensuring quality and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Accurately measure and cut drywall sheets it to fit various spaces.
• Install drywall panels in accordance with project specifications.
• Tape, seal, and finish drywall joints with professional precision.
• Conduct repairs on damaged drywall to maintain structural integrity.
• Set up metal framing and support systems as required.
• Prioritize safety and compliance on job sites.
• Keep the work area tidy and conducive to productivity.
• Liaise with colleagues and project managers regarding project progress.
• Assist in mentoring junior team members where necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Wall and Ceiling Lining or equivalent
• White Card (Construction Induction)

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant drywall installation experience.

Languages

• English: Fluent
