Job Description

As an Industrial Machinery Mechanic, you will play a critical role in ensuring the functionality of printing machines. Your expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various printing equipment will be key to our operations. We are looking for someone with hands-on experience and a passion for precision.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of printing machines to identify potential issues.
  • Perform troubleshooting and repairs on printing equipment as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance work and inventory usage.
  • Assist in training and mentoring new mechanics and technicians.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers for parts procurement.
  • Implement continuous improvement measures for maintenance processes.
  • Assist in upgrading or redesigning existing machinery when necessary.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss operations and improvements.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to operators and staff as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or equivalent
  • Trade certification in Printing Machine Maintenance is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role within the printing industry.
