Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Kier Pleater to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating pleats in a range of fabrics using the Kier Pleater machine. The role involves adjusting settings, monitoring the pleating process, and ensuring high-quality results.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the Kier Pleater machine for fabric pleating.
• Troubleshoot any machine issues that arise during production.
• Ensure quality control by regularly inspecting pleated fabrics.
• Collaborate with the production team to enhance workflow efficiency.
• Document production data and any incidents occurring during the process.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements.
• Train junior staff on pleating techniques and machine operation.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma or Certificate in Textile or Fashion Design is an advantage.

Experience

• Experience in garment production and knowledge of fabric properties.

Technical Skills

• Kier Pleater operation
• Fabric knowledge

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
