Manufacturing Assistant

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Manufacturing Assistant to support our production processes. You will perform various tasks, including machine operation, assembly, packing, and quality control, working collaboratively with the production team to meet targets and ensure the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and adjust machinery as needed during production runs.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals and improvements.
• Ensure all materials are prepared and available for production tasks.
• Perform troubleshooting on production equipment and processes.
• Maintain accurate records of production output.
• Assist in training new team members on operational procedures.
• Collaborate with quality assurance to address any product issues.
• Complete other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certificate in manufacturing or relevant field (highly regarded)

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or similar role.

Technical Skills

• Machinery Maintenance
• Lean Manufacturing Practices

Soft Skills

• Problem-Solving
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Quality Control Certification (desirable)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Forklift operation: Experience operating forklifts or similar equipment.
• Team leadership experience: Prior experience leading a small team is advantageous.
