Job Description

Join our team as a Cutting and Slicing Machine Operator, where you will be responsible for operating and maintaining machines that produce decorative buttons for diverse industries. You will ensure smooth operations while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate decorative button machines ensuring adherence to quality specifications.
• Conduct quality inspections and tests throughout the production process.
• Maintain detailed records of production metrics.
• Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure product quality.
• Assist in developing and implementing new machine operating procedures.
• Participate in safety audits and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Help troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues with machinery.
• Perform cleaning and basic maintenance of machines.
• Assist in training new employees on machine operations and safety procedures.
• Provide feedback for process improvement and cost reduction.

Requirements

Education

• Post-secondary education in manufacturing or engineering is preferred

Experience

• Previous experience in button-making or related industries is a plus

Languages

Advantageous
