Job Description

We are seeking a Brownfield Redevelopment Specialist who will be responsible for conducting site investigations and implementing remediation strategies for contaminated land. You will provide expert advice on environmental regulations and work closely with clients to deliver effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead contaminated site investigations and develop comprehensive risk assessments.
• Formulate tailored remediation strategies for various types of contaminants.
• Interpret environmental legislation and ensure compliance during projects.
• Supervise and coordinate field activities, ensuring quality and safety.
• Compile and present environmental impact assessments to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior consultants and promote teamwork within the department.
• Cultivate client relationships and enhance service delivery.
• Support business development initiatives through proposal writing.
• Remain informed about technological advancements in environmental remediation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in managing contaminated land projects

Technical Skills

• Soil and Water Sampling

Certifications

• RSci (Registered Scientist)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Expertise in Environmental Modelling Software: Hands-on experience using environmental modelling software (e.g., MODFLOW, FEFLOW) for assessments.
