Job Description

We are in search of a dedicated Tax Consultant to join our Geelong office. The perfect candidate will have a deep understanding of taxation laws and regulations, along with the ability to provide clear, actionable tax advice to our clients. As part of a vibrant team, you will play a pivotal role in helping businesses maximising their tax efficiency and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate tax practices and recommend improvements.
• Conduct detailed audits of tax returns for accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare for and represent clients in tax audits.
• Deliver workshops on tax strategies for clients.
• Coordinate with external auditors on tax-related inquiries.
• Develop expertise in niche tax areas as needed.
• Cultivate and maintain client trust with clear communication.
• Oversee tax-related projects from inception to completion.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• MBA or similar qualification is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum of 4 years in tax consulting

Certifications

• Registered Tax Agent (RTA)
• Certified Management Accountant (CMA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Knowledge of international tax regulations: Understanding of international tax laws and treaties is advantageous.
