Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Farm Equipment Mechanic to maintain and repair agricultural machinery. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring optimal functioning of farming equipment, including tractors and combines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all equipment is serviced and functioning correctly before and after farming seasons.
• Report any significant repairs or machinery failures in a timely manner.
• Assist in the training of new staff members on equipment maintenance.
• Maintain inventory of tools and equipment in the workshop.
• Work closely with the team to ensure deadlines are met.
• Support troubleshooting of complex machinery issues.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.

Requirements

Education

• Trade qualification in heavy machinery mechanics or equivalent
• Additional certification in agricultural technology is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years' experience working with agricultural machinery
