Job Description

As a Hatchery Helper, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of our hatchery. Your main responsibilities will include caring for hatching eggs and ensuring the health and welfare of our chicks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare eggs for incubation and monitor conditions throughout the hatching process.
• Maintain strict cleanliness and hygiene standards in the hatchery.
• Coordinate with team members to achieve production targets.
• Participate in regular health checks and data entry related to chick growth.
• Assist in training new team members and interns on hatchery operations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in hatchery processes.

Requirements

Education

• Post-secondary education in Animal Science or related field is preferred

Experience

• Previous experience working with livestock is advantageous.
