Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Stable Attendant, where your primary role will be to provide top-notch care for our horses, including grooming, feeding, and health monitoring. A passion for equine care is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Manage feeding and hydration of horses on a scheduled basis.
  • Conduct thorough grooming routines to ensure horse comfort and health.
  • Perform regular stall cleaning and maintenance for optimal hygiene.
  • Exercise and condition horses for health and fitness.
  • Administer medications as directed and record health changes.
  • Assist in foaling and breeding practices safely.
  • Provide support during veterinary visits and emergency situations.
  • Help organise and participate in local competitions and exhibitions.
  • Transport horses to off-site locations safely when required.
  • Maintain barn cleanliness and proper organization of supplies.

Requirements

Education
  • Certificate III in Animal Care or relevant qualification
  • First Aid and CPR certification
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in equine care

Languages
  • English: Fluent
