As a Cotton Buyer at Agri Supply Co., you will be pivotal in sourcing and negotiating premium quality cotton at competitive prices. Your role will involve maintaining robust supplier relationships and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Establish pricing models and negotiate rates with suppliers.
• Oversee inventory tracking and stock replenishment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on supply needs.
• Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain.
• Contribute to strategic planning for the procurement department.
• Attend trade shows and networking events.
• Assist in sourcing alternatives for cotton to ensure competitive pricing.
• Evaluate potential new suppliers for future partnerships.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Sciences, Business, or Logistics

Experience

• 3-5 years of procurement or sourcing experience
