Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to join our Launceston team. This role is pivotal in ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and promoting ethical practices within the organisation.
Responsibilities
Lead compliance investigations and coordinate corrective actions.
Act as a point of contact for regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders.
Evaluate the effectiveness of compliance programs and suggest improvements.
Ensure timely reporting of compliance breaches to management.
Collaborate with HR to ensure compliance in recruitment processes.
Facilitate ongoing compliance training and awareness initiatives.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
Master’s degree in Compliance or a related discipline preferred
Experience
5 years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or legal roles
