We are seeking a passionate Civil Engineer to join our Newcastle team. In this role, you will work on diverse infrastructure projects, collaborating with a dedicated team to design, construct and manage essential infrastructure that serves communities across the region. Your expertise will be pivotal in ensuring that projects are completed to the highest standards, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering projects and ensure their timely completion.
• Develop and review designs for various types of infrastructure.
• Participate in project planning and strategy meetings.
• Conduct risk assessments and mitigation plans.
• Prepare detailed drawings and specifications.
• Oversee the construction process and liaise with contractors.
• Provide technical advice and solutions to project challenges.
• Review and approve project documentation.
• Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Postgraduate study or certifications are advantageous

Experience

• 7+ years of civil engineering experience in large-scale projects

• Civil 3D
• Environmental Engineering

Certifications

• Certification in Project Management (PMI)
• Green Building Certification (LEED)

Languages

• English: Fluent
