Job Description

As a Port Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of port operations by conducting thorough surveys of ports and harbours. You will assess navigational conditions and provide actionable recommendations for improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare surveys, reports, and technical documentation as required.
  • Monitor compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
  • Facilitate training for junior surveyors and interns.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to surveying methods and technologies.
  • Engage with broader maritime community through conferences and seminars.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in marine engineering, naval architecture, or related field.
Experience
  • 3+ years' experience in port management or marine surveying.
