Job Description

As a Highway Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for the laying, spreading, and finishing of asphalt to create safe and durable roadways. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work in a team environment to complete projects efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the work site for asphalt laying and ensure all tools are ready.
• Use heavy machinery effectively and safely.
• Monitor and maintain the quality of asphalt during application.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily project goals.
• Perform routine maintenance and checks on machinery.
• Document daily progress and report issues to the supervisor.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant training in asphalt laying or construction

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in asphalt laying or road construction work

Technical Skills

• Asphalt Laying
• Heavy Machinery Operation

Certifications

• White Card (Construction Safety Card)
• Valid Driver's License

Languages

• English: Fluent
