Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic individual to fill the Buyers and Purchasing Agent role in our farm products division. Your responsibilities will include establishing supplier partnerships, evaluating product quality, and responding to market changes to enhance our business operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of existing clients and identify opportunities for growth.
• Respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Work closely with the sales team to provide support and assistance.
• Evaluate supplier performance and adjust procurement strategy as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in the development of sales targets and forecast revenue growth.
• Perform risk assessments and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Provide regular reporting on buying activities and market conditions.
• Support product launches with pricing and promotional strategies.
• Ensure all procurement activities align with company goals and budgets.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field

Experience

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with financial products: Knowledge in managed funds, ETFs, and superannuation could be beneficial.

• Experience working with financial advisers and brokers: Prior experience in liaising with financial professionals is preferred.
