Damper Fitter

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Damper Fitter to install, repair, and maintain dampers and related equipment. You'll be responsible for ensuring that dampers function efficiently across a variety of projects, working alongside a dedicated team of professionals.

Responsibilities

• Fitting and installing dampers in various commercial and industrial settings.
• Conducting preventative maintenance and fault diagnostics.
• Working closely with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues.
• Ensuring compliance with safety procedures and standards.
• Maintaining detailed logs of work activities and repairs.
• Managing stock and tools effectively.
• Providing mentorship to junior staff members as necessary.
• Participating in team meetings and contributing to project planning.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant Trade Qualification

Experience

• Experience with HVAC or mechanical services is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Welding and Fabrication Skills
• Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems Knowledge

Soft Skills

• Team Player
• Effective Communication

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with HVAC Systems: Hands-on experience in HVAC installation and repair.
