Responsibilities

• Sort and stack logs based on quality and size for efficient processing.
• Operate a range of equipment for log handling, including forklifts.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure logs meet quality standards.
• Keep detailed records of log movements and inventory levels.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline workflow.
• Adhere to occupational health and safety guidelines.
• Participate in equipment maintenance and reporting issues.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of logs from transportation vehicles.
• Report any challenges affecting log supply to management.
• Engage in continuous improvement for processes and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• No formal qualifications required, on-the-job training provided.

Experience

• Experience in log handling or related environments is preferred.
