Job Description
We are after a highly organized and detail-oriented Cash Office Worker to join our finance team in Melbourne. This role involves managing cash transactions, preparing daily cash reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Responsibilities
Manage and refresh cash register floats, ensuring all cash handling adheres to company protocol.
Track discrepancies and support investigations to resolve cash management issues.
Handle special cash-related requests from management effectively.
Train and onboard new cash office employees on policies and procedures.
Support the finance team in process improvements for cash management.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Additional accounting or bookkeeping certifications are an advantage.
Experience
Previous experience with cash office administration is preferred.
Technical Skills
Advanced proficiency in using POS systems
Financial software knowledge
Soft Skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to work well under pressure
Languages
English: Fluent
