We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our meat department as a Meat Clerk. This position involves engaging with customers, ensuring proper handling of meat products, and maintaining a clean workspace. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Support the Butcher in processing meat as required.
• Ensure all meat products meet quality standards.
• Engage with customers on dietary preferences and needs.
• Coordinate with suppliers for meat orders and deliveries.
• Maintain a positive and friendly atmosphere in the workplace.
• Participate in promotional activities and events.
• Provide feedback on product offerings to management.
• Ensure safe handling practices in all department operations.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in a meat-related role preferred.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of Meat Cuts
• Food Safety Regulations

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Meat Handling Regulations: Familiarity with meat handling and storage regulations in Australia.
