Job Description

As a Teletherapy Speech-Language Pathologist, you will provide remote therapy services to individuals with speech and language disorders. Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, developing tailored treatment plans, and engaging clients through virtual sessions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform remote evaluations of clients' speech and language capabilities.
  • Create and oversee personalized therapy strategies based on client needs.
  • Use video conferencing tools to deliver effective teletherapy sessions.
  • Evaluate client progress and modify therapy plans when necessary.
  • Work in partnership with families and multidisciplinary teams for holistic care.
  • Document all therapy activities meticulously to track client progress.
  • Engage in ongoing training and stay informed on current speech-language pathology trends.
  • Commit to high professional standards and ethical practice.
  • Take part in various training and education initiatives for personal growth.
  • Aim to innovate and improve teletherapy practices within the organisation.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Registration or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Australia
Experience
  • Previous experience in providing speech-language therapy, especially in a teletherapy setting, is highly preferred.
