Job Description

We are seeking a motivated Chemical Engineer to join our Cairns team. The successful candidate will work on developing, implementing, and optimizing chemical processes and technologies. As part of our dynamic engineering group, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to innovate and improve product processes while ensuring safety and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and modify existing chemical processes.
• Conduct feasibility studies for new projects.
• Prepare reports on process performance metrics.
• Develop and conduct training on new technologies.
• Work with suppliers to source materials for experiments.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.
• Track project timelines and budgets.
• Collaborate on interdisciplinary projects.
• Present findings to management and recommend improvements.
• Engage with clients for a better understanding of their needs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline
• PhD in Chemical Engineering is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience
