We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Cairns. This role requires a candidate with a strong foundation in mechanical design, analysis, and project management to develop innovative engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical engineering projects, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain accurate records of design changes and project milestones.
• Evaluate current systems and propose improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Participate in regular project meetings to update stakeholders and discuss progress.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
• Master's preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a mechanical engineering role

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Inventor
• Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE)

Languages

• English: Fluent
