Flexographic Press Operator

Job Description

The Flexographic Press Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining printing presses to produce high-quality products that meet customer requirements. The successful candidate will be familiar with printing and finishing techniques and will have excellent technical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Setup and adjust printing press machines according to job specifications.
• Check and adjust registration for perfect print quality.
• Implement safety and quality guidelines at all times.
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure efficient workflow.
• Provide feedback to supervisors on equipment performance.
• Participate in preventative maintenance schedules.
• Handle raw materials and inks efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 3+ years of experience as a Flexographic Press Operator

Technical Skills

• Ink and Ink Mixing
• Press Setup

Soft Skills

• Team Collaboration
• Problem Solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with narrow and wide web Flexographic printing presses: Extensive background in operating different types of flexo presses.
• Experience with slitting and rewinding equipment: Knowledge of secondary processes essential to label production.
