Job Description

As a Certified Composites Technician (CCT), you will be instrumental in the production, repair, and maintenance of composite materials. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong background in composite manufacturing processes and a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality outputs.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents for composite production.
  • Prepare molds and mandrels for composite layup processes.
  • Operate and maintain manufacturing machinery, including saws and drills.
  • Perform testing on composite materials and conduct maintenance on machinery.
  • Ensure all safety protocols are adhered to, maintaining a clean workspace.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency.

Requirements

Education
  • Certification as a Composites Technician from an accredited program
  • Associate's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field (preferred)
Experience
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in composite manufacturing and repair
