Job Description

As an Administrative Law Judge, you will play a pivotal role in the legal system by conducting hearings and mediations. Your responsibilities will include interpreting laws, issuing rulings, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure just outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and conduct hearings on various legal issues.
  • Evaluate evidence and witnesses to make informed decisions.
  • Draft and issue rulings in accordance with legal guidelines.
  • Ensure that hearings are conducted fairly and justly.
  • Collaborate with administrative staff for case management.
  • Facilitate mediation sessions when applicable.
  • Provide feedback and training to junior legal staff.
  • Engage in ongoing legal education and professional development.
  • Monitor case law and legal developments relevant to adjudications.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Requirements

Education
  • Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal degree
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience specifically in administrative law.
