Drier Operator

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Drier Operator to be an integral part of our team. The successful candidate will oversee the operation and maintenance of drier machinery. Your expertise will ensure that all drying processes comply with our stringent quality standards and company guidelines. Candidates should be adept in monitoring equipment and able to address any technical issues that arise.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor drier equipment for optimal drying of food products.
• Carry out regular inspections and maintenance checks on machinery.
• Control and adjust drying parameters to ensure product quality.
• Implement safety measures and keep the work area clean.
• Identify and remedy equipment issues promptly.
• Record daily production and maintenance reports.
• Work closely with production staff to facilitate workflow.
• Assist with inventory management of supplies and raw materials.
• Support the development of standard operating procedures for equipment.
• Adhere to hygiene standards and workplace policies.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant certifications in operating drier equipment (advantageous)

Experience

• Experience in the agriculture or food processing industry is favourable.

Technical Skills

• Forklift operation
• Quality control knowledge

• Food Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
