Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of crucial medical equipment in various healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to medical equipment.
• Perform safety checks and maintenance routine for all devices.
• Assist in the procurement of necessary tools and spare parts.
• Monitor and report on equipment performance metrics.
• Support the implementation of new medical technologies and processes.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Biomedical Engineering or related field
• Relevant certifications are a plus

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in a healthcare environment

Certifications

• Australian Certificate in Electrical Engineering
