We're on the lookout for an Environmental Consultant to make a significant impact in Coffs Harbour. The right candidate will be adept at conducting environmental assessments, advising on compliance matters, and engaging with diverse stakeholders to promote sustainable practices in the region. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work on various projects aimed at protecting our environment while ensuring compliance with government regulations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate environmental impacts of proposed projects and provide recommendations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of environmental policies and legislation.
• Coordinate with government agencies regarding environmental permits.
• Assist in the development of environmental management plans.
• Conduct training sessions on environmental best practices for clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
• Master's degree in Environmental Policy or Management is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in a similar role or environmental consultancy

• Project management skills
