Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Environmental Engineer to join our Cairns team. In this role, you'll focus on developing solutions to environmental challenges, including waste management, water quality improvement, and sustainability initiatives. As part of a collaborative team, you will engage with various stakeholders to ensure that projects align with environmental regulations and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement air and water quality monitoring programs.
• Conduct research on environmental technologies and innovations.
• Work with clients to develop sustainable project solutions.
• Contribute to the preparation of grant proposals for funding.
• Engage in interdisciplinary teamwork to address complex issues.
• Evaluate and assess environmental policies and regulations.
• Provide input on ecological restoration projects.
• Facilitate discussions with community groups on environmental concerns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Engineering
• Advanced degree in a related field is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental consulting or engineering
