Job Description

As an Artillery and Missile Officer, you will manage the operational readiness of weapons and missile systems on naval vessels. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and effectiveness of naval operations through training, monitoring, and strategic collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of shipboard weapons systems.
  • Develop and implement training programs for sailors on weapon systems operation.
  • Conduct risk assessments to improve safety measures.
  • Collaborate with tactical officers to align operational strategies.
  • Participate in simulations to enhance performance under pressure.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations related to weapon handling.
  • Support mission planning by providing weapons system insights.
  • Maintain proficiency in the latest weapons technologies and procedures.
  • Report and analyze incidents or near-misses involving weapons systems.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Military Science)
  • Specialized training in weapons systems and ammunition handling.
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in naval operations.
